Validation Parking Ticket Program
Welcome to Downtown Boone
We are happy that you have chosen to spend your day in Downtown Boone.
If you get a ticket we can fix it !!
If you would like to stay in Downtown Boone for more than one hour, please do !!
You may get an exceeding time violation citation, if you do, simply bring your ticket into the downtown merchant where you were shopping or eating and they will take care of it for you.
If you would rather, simply ask for a White Validation Stamp, place it on your ticket, and drop it off at RBC Bank, Mast General Store, Watauga County Public Library, or the drive thru window at Town Hall located off of King Street.
White Validation Stamps will also cover one hour of parking in the pay lots. Simply present your White Validation Stamp with your parking ticket, and it will eliminate your first hour of parking.
*Only one ticket may be validated per day.
15 minute to 3 hour meters are located on Queen Street, turn north on Depot or Waters Street to reach the parking area.
